Lois Gibbs — Live Recording with Legendary Environmental Activist

I am very excited to announce that tomorrow, April 20, 2023, from 6-8 PM ET, I will be recording a live on-stage interview with Lois Gibbs, the legendary activist who organized her neighborhood of Love Canal in Niagara Falls, NY, after she learned about the toxic waste buried under her son’s school. The organizing work she did, together with her neighbors, changed the environmental movement forever and led to the passage of Superfund legislation.
The live event at the University at Buffalo is already sold out, but we will be filming the conversation and live streaming it. You can find the live stream on the University at Buffalo College of Arts and Sciences YouTube channel. The link will be live at 6 PM or shortly thereafter on April 20, 2023.
